My fiancé does not care for photos so I’m happy we had someone working with us who could make him comfortable. He made sure to get multiple images even if it was just “one more”, it was never one more! We had actually hired a different photographer and we replaced him with this company. Worth the stress and money! If I had any tips for the company, it would be to have your photographers give a 30 minute warning before their contracted time is up. Weddings are so busy for the bride and groom, it is very easy to lose track of time. I think clients would appreciate a little heads up just so they can try and capture any photos they may have missed. Other than that, I have ZERO complaints. Such an amazing experience! 10/10 highly recommend :)”

We ended up with a great balance of great cost and services that met our needs. Rob was equally great during the contracting process since we wanted a few updates to their standard contract. Rob then lined up Kev the DJ and Kev was fantastic! We had a couple of meetings to work out the music we wanted Kev to play, and he provided really good suggestions on how best to organize the music. On the day of the wedding Kev joined us at our hotel before the wedding for a quick rehearsal of the ceremony. At the wedding Kev brought incredible energy as the MC and kept the music flowing perfectly as the DJ. Kev was so great sometimes I was hanging out with him. Suffice it to say that we highly recommend Second Song as your first choice to DJ your wedding or another event!”

Thanks to their Venue Match service, we found our dream spot—the Prospect Park Boathouse. It was exactly what we envisioned: beautiful, intimate, and full of charm. Mostest made the process so easy by narrowing down options based on our style and budget, which saved us hours of research and back-and-forth on quotes. My favorite part of the service was contract review, where they breakdown each line of the contract so nothing surprised us. We also used their Day-of Coordination, and honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect when they recommended a Junior Coordinator too. Our wedding had two locations—ceremony and reception—and having a point person at each site was a total game-changer, so I'm glad they guided us. We also had a ceremony guitarist and a saxophonist with tracks for the cocktail hour, which added great touches to the day. The uplights they brought for the room were priced very well and created a beautiful atmosphere. The music planning worksheet they provided was incredibly helpful, and they offered valuable advice on the timeline and flow of the reception, which was a huge help. They were fun to work with, and on the night of the wedding, they absolutely crushed it. The music was fantastic, they kept the vibes high, and their crowd engagement was excellent. “From my first call with JJ Essen, I knew his team was a good fit. He was prompt, communicative, and organized. He assigned Scott as our DJ & Javier as our photobooth attendant. Scott was equally communicative & organized. He set up multiple calls throughout the process, and was super flexible with us when we had to change our venue & timeline 3 weeks before the wedding. I sent Scott some specific songs, but also shared my Spotify playlists, and he made sure the entire night was popping! The dance floor was full all night, as Scott played banger after banger. He really nailed my music taste! And Javier made the photobooth so fun for my guests! I was nervous the scent would be strong or too artificial but it was light and natural. They photographed beautifully and let me have a taste of home with the magnolias all the way across the country. Gorgeous.”

“My daughter recently got married in Newport, Rhode Island, on September 14th, 2024. She choose to have her reception in a tent on the lawn of the Eisenhower House. The venue was stunning and the woman at EH recommended Clockwork as we were looking for a local band with horns to play at the reception. We were not able to hear them in person, but all the video's posted online more than helped our decision making process and we quickly booked the band 20 months in advance, It was our second decision in the wedding process after the venue -with many, many more to come, but without a doubt - IT WAS THE BEST DECISION!!!! Booking was easy - we sent a check to reserve the date. the catalog of music they are capable of playing is extensive. But we had a tremendous comfort level with Clockwork New England as the contract states YOU GET THE EXACT MUSICIANS you see on all the website videos. There are no switches, or long lists of band members they slot in on any given day. Everyone we saw and loved are the people that showed up for our event. From start to finish - the band rocked the night away - the dance floor was never empty. They sang the bride and grooms song 'You are the Best Thing" and it was spectacular. And every song after that just got us up off our feet. The horns added so much - we keep hearing from friends asking us who they were, because they LOVED the music. The interactions with the crowd also made the night so memorable - and some of the best videos of the night. The band worked well together - and we just cannot say enough about how much they added to the party. Patrick joined a zoom call we had w our planner a week or so earlier than the event - and went over every detail - completely putting our minds at ease. 5 stars are NOT ENOUGH!! They truly made our event the best it could have possibly been! I want to do it again!”
